This towering presence in the Marfa skyline was home to Godbold Feeds for over fifty years.  Happy Godbold purchased the building in the 1950’s for $5,200 and added the elevator, from an old mica mine in Van Horn, for another $6,000. After 100 years of warehouse use, the structural timbers and most of the connections needed to be replaced. SILLA took on the job, with an eye to maintaining the original aesthetic of the building.
 
The space remains connected to its original feel and construction. The scars and markings of 100-plus years of use are clearly visible.
